The Barong Tagalog, more commonly known simply as Barong, is an embroidered formal shirt and considered the male national dress of the Philippines. It is lightweight and worn untucked. A symbol of national pride, it's both elegant and charming, masculine and appealing. Skillfully embroidered in a delicate cloth by the artisans of Lumban, Laguna, Philippines.

We only recommend hand-washing on our items with mild soap. Use toothbrush to scrub off dirt and DO NOT Squeeze. Hang dry only. Iron on a low to moderate heat. Iron on reverse side only of a painted area.

Appreciate the prompt delivery of such a beautiful piece but I unfortunately received my item with a number of loose threads on the embroidery design (picture attached). Luckily my wonderful Mother was able to fix each stitch before the event. Quite disappointing as we are spending a chunk of change for an item we’d expect to be thoroughly checked before it’s packaged.
